One of the highlight dives of our August 2016 Great Lakes trip was the wooden steamer "S.S. Florida".
In her day, at 83 metres in length, she was one of the largest vessels on the Great Lakes, especially large for a wooden bulk freighter.
Sunk in a collision with the steel steamer "George W. Roby" in 1897, the Florida now lies in 59 metres of water and is a truly incredible dive.
