About Mike
I am an award winning VFX Supervisor and ‘Maya’ generalist with more than 30 years experience in the 3D post-production industry who has worked with top VFX Artists and Directors, including Rupert Sanders, Noam Murro, Adam Berg, Roman Coppola, and Bruce Hunt.
A native of Melbourne, Australia, I spent eight years in New Zealand followed by another eight in Sydney working for some of the top post-production companies in each country before moving to Los Angeles where I served as VFX Supervisor for MPC for eight years before moving over to AFX for four years and now at Pariah.
The majority of my career has been in commercial work with some film and long-form experience predominantly using ‘Maya’ software. My skill set includes all aspects of 3D post-production from client brief through to final delivery with management experience including supervision of 3D artists, liaising with producers, compositors, and clients.
With a Graphic Design background and possessing a mixture of creativity, ingenuity, and strong organizational skills, I work well amidst rapidly changing environments and am adept at juggling multiple priorities.
